The Donkey is Happy Dancing....

I am very happy to report that last Monday (and a little bit of Tuesday evening) saw me finish my Democratic Donkey.  Yay!  The donkey and I have been happy dancing around the house......

Early Americans-Little House Needleworks

Hi everyone! I am new here on this blog and so excited to share my patriotic/Americana stitching. I have been working on this project almost exclusively for the last month and a half, as I love it and just can't put it down. I am hoping to have it finished soon. Democratic Donkey Update...

My focus Americana piece for now is the Democratic Donkey one of the Party Tarts by Plum Street Samplers, part of their Jack's Sweet Shoppe Series.

So, as you can see - a heap of progress has been made - this is such a lovely project to stitch.  BTW, the top pic is the truer colours of the piece - isn't it funny how much effect lighting can have on your photos?

This is a painted canvas piece I picked up a couple of years ago. It travels well which is part of why it isn't done yet.   I am still thinking about making another so that it can be double sided.

Okay, here we go for 2018....

I have just realised that I have not posted on this Americana SAL blog for nearly a year! The last time I posted was 27 March 2017 and here it is the 6th March 2018!!!!!!!!
